Lunch With The Mayor

Abigale had a very exciting day! She was so excited to go she woke up early and had her outfit and hair all chosen and ready to go. She got chosen out of all the kids in second grade to go enjoy lunch with the mayor of the city. You had to have perfect attendance for a certain length of time to qualify for it. She went with the vice-principal and a small group of kids from her school. She got picked up in a police car, rode in an abulance, and got taken back to school in a firetruck. She was in heaven. They enjoyed a pizza lunch with lots of city officials and the mayor talked with them about making good choices. I thought it was an awesome thing to do for the kids, Abigale could not stop talking about how cool she thought it was.

We're so proud of how well Abigale is doing in school. She is such a smartie! She's an awesome reader, doing great in math, and loves science. Way to go Abigale, we think you're awesome!
