Alan and I have never made Valentine's Day a huge deal, especially when we started having kids but we do like to do small things for eachother. Alan brought me these pretty roses with the sweetest card attached. It said; The happiest times in my life begin and end with you." I thought it was super sweet and it meant a lot to me, he even got a few happy tears out of the deal. I wrote him a card and gave him a favorite treat.

This is what the girls found at their spots at the table for breakfast. They were most excited about the cotton candy lipsmackers. We definately have girly-girls which we love. They also enjoyed pink pancakes, and pink milk for breakfast which I seemed more excited about then they did, oh well!

Preslie and Abigale decided to make Alan and I this special Valentine's Day dessert. Very, very sweet thought, really. It was milk with soooo much strawberry syrup in it that I could not physically drink it. Alan drank it was was super sick afterwards. The other delicious thing they made was bread with peach jam on it. Again, super sweet thought that we had to politely throw away when they weren't looking. What was really funny about it was Abigale tried some of Alan's and said; "Wow that's really gross after Alan had drank most of it and was sick." I was laughing pretty hard.

We finished up the night with some take-out and a movie. I love my Valentine!

Alan is quite the romantic! Honestly, you guys have it figured out. It isn't the gifts that come from a store that matter. The measure of love is the day-to-day fidelity in thought, word and action. You are training up three little girls to understand this, and they will all be blessed by having been in your home.
